Huyze Linde wanted to make their products available outside regular opening hours as well. To make this possible, they chose two Smart Fridges from Mirkoz Vending.
The two machines are installed outdoors and are now used daily to sell a wide variety of products. Not only drinks and snacks, but also charcuterie and even gifts can be found inside.

From charcuterie to gifts
What makes this installation particularly interesting is the wide range of products Huyze Linde offers in its Smart Fridges.
With a traditional vending machine, you are often limited by spirals and fixed compartments. A Smart Fridge does not have these limitations. The shelves can be arranged freely, making it possible to offer products in many different shapes and sizes.
Huyze Linde makes full use of this flexibility. The two Smart Fridges contain a variety of products, including charcuterie, chilled drinks, snacks and gifts.
In this way, the Smart Fridges essentially function as a small unmanned shop where customers can choose the products they want themselves.
How does a Smart Fridge work?
The concept is simple. The customer checks in using the payment terminal, after which the door is unlocked. The customer can then take the desired products from the fridge.
The technology inside the Smart Fridge registers which products have been taken and automatically charges the customer accordingly.
For the operator, there is also a management system that makes it possible to remotely monitor sales and stock levels.
Huyze Linde shares their experience
We believe it is much more interesting to let our customers speak for themselves.
That is why we visited Huyze Linde and made a short video about their experience with the two Smart Fridges. They explain how they use the machines and how the system works for them in practice.

Also suitable for outdoor installation
Huyze Linde's two Smart Fridges are installed outdoors. This makes the location a great example of how a Smart Fridge can be used when products need to remain available outside normal opening hours.
For an outdoor installation, it is of course important to carefully consider where the machine will be placed and how it will be protected from weather conditions.

A Smart Fridge for your business?
A Smart Fridge certainly does not have to be filled with only traditional snacks and soft drinks. The concept is particularly interesting for entrepreneurs who want the flexibility to sell their own range of products.
This could include charcuterie, fresh meals, sandwiches, dairy products, drinks, snacks or other packaged products.
